Fyti Village in Paphos
Fyti is a traditional village in the District of Paphos in Cyprus.
It is situated 25 km North-East of Paphos city center and 20 km South-East of Polis area. There are several small villages within a 3 km radius of Fyti, including Lasa, Kritou Marottou and Anadiou, all residing at an average altitude of 680 m.
At the paved square of the village you will find the 19th century church of St. Dimitris and a small traditional flour mill where you can learn how the bread was baked during the old days. Also, in the centre of the village you can relax and enjoy delicious local dishes at one of the two traditional taverns. The building where the tavern of Maria is found is 200 years old and it used to be a school. The other restaurant, Pefkos Restaurant, is decorated with colourful textiles called - "FYTHKIOTIKA".
